Ditch the Dometic Window

Feb 6, 2025

At Reparadise, we see a lot of factory-installed windows that just don’t cut it. They crack, the plastic gets brittle, and before you know it, you’re dealing with leaks, rattles, or worse—windows that just fall apart. That’s exactly why we recently upgraded a Revel by removing one of those flimsy stock windows and replacing it with a sleek, glass tip-out or sliding design.

The Difference? Night and Day.

With this upgrade, the van gets:
Better durability – No more cheap plastic that wears out.
Improved airflow – A tip-out or sliding window lets you control ventilation.
More natural light – A brighter, more open feel inside the van.
A cleaner, custom fit – We cut, install, and seal everything in-house.

In its place, we typically opt for a CRL Mercedes Sprinter Passenger Side Sliding Door T-Vent Window, or the VWD 2007+ Mercedes Sprinter Passenger Side Sliding Door Half-Slider Window.

The T-Vent is preferred if airflow in wet conditions is prioritized, the sliding window is better for airflow while driving. Both windows work great with the insulated Van Essential Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Sliding Door Window Cover. This combination keeps the interior cozy when needed, and folds up out of the way when you want that sweet outdoorsy experience. The windows come with screens, and if you need added security, Pikavo CRLSecure™ Sprinter security panel allows you to leave the T-vent style window cracked.

This job can take 3-4 hours depending on the style of window installed. View a list of a our available windows here, and contact us and get your van set up with windows built to last.
