But, we are happy to report the unexpected opportunity to use the ol’ Airstream as a holiday Pop Up Shop at Trolley Square in Salt Lake City, Utah has been a great success.
Curious about how things were going (and a little behind on our gift list) we decided to sneak out of West Valley and the Reparadise workshop to do a little shopping over lunch. The mall was alive and buzzing with busy shoppers, and we couldn’t help notice that people were turning heads when they saw the shinymetalschad polished finish and nostalgic Airstream silhouette.
Enough to lure people into the temporary boutique, the intrigue of a shiny restored camper is undeniable. But, being packed with fun party supplies and ideas, many of the “lookers” left the trailer as customers making our client a very happy camper.
The Gateway, another popular shopping destination in Salt Lake City, Utah, is utilizing our retro trailers for their Winter Walk Event this holiday season. Two Tin Bar retro concession trailers, rented via our sister company Retro Rentals, provide attractive mobile bars on either end of Rio Grand Street. You can visit them Friday evenings during December.
Thirsty shoppers can purchase refillable mugs and enjoy a variety of seasonal drinks such as mulled wine and hot toddies.
