SAGA Spec: Elevated

Discover the SAGA Vans Spec Layout

This isn’t a one-off showpiece. It’s a SAGA Spec build—our proven Sprinter 144 platform elevated with carefully selected upgrades and refined exterior enhancements.

At its core, this van features SAGA’s full interior system and a robust 48V off-grid electrical foundation, engineered for reliability and real-world use. The layout is the same intelligently designed package we build every day: lightweight, serviceable, and built from years of repair-driven experience at Reparadise.

Where this spec steps up is in the details. Exterior upgrades enhance capability and presence without compromising the balance of the platform. Every addition was chosen to improve performance, durability, or usability—not just aesthetics.

This build represents what a SAGA van is meant to be: a dialed, production-backed adventure vehicle with the right upgrades in the right places.

Built with intention. Upgraded with purpose. Ready to work.

Interior

Refined. Efficient. Built to Go the Distance.

Step inside this SAGA Spec Sprinter 144 and you’ll find the same balanced interior system featured in our Team Van—where comfort, utility, and long-term durability live in the same square footage.

This is our standard SAGA interior package, executed with care. Black walnut cabinetry brings warmth without excess. Yacht-grade hardware adds durability where it matters. Every line is intentional, every component designed to integrate seamlessly. It’s not a collection of parts. It’s a cohesive system built to age well and function under real use.

The quick-deploy Murphy bed with integrated bedding storage transforms the space in seconds. The modular galley keeps cooking streamlined. The 48V power system stays tucked away yet ready to handle serious loads. A full-size sink, induction cooktop, ample storage, swivel seating, and a lounge area that doubles as a mobile workstation complete the layout.

Comfort and control get a serious upgrade with Scheel-Mann Vario F Clima driver and passenger seats. Fully adjustable and climate-controlled, they make long drives smoother, rough roads easier, and every journey far more comfortable.

This interior feels custom because it’s been thoughtfully engineered—but it’s part of a repeatable, proven SAGA system available now.

The Build

Build Overview: Behind the Build

We started by adding side flares to widen the sleeping footprint and reclaim a few essential inches of interior space. The van was then fully insulated, pre-wired, and paneled to create a clean foundation. All cabinetry was CNC-cut in-house from laminated UltraLight plywood and assembled with straightforward, architectural lines that keep the cabin open and practical. This version features black walnut accents at the countertops and ceiling, paired with durable finishes selected from our expanding materials library to balance contrast, longevity, and everyday use.

System layout was prioritized from day one. Our SAGA wiring harness and Nations alternator went in first, setting the backbone. From there, we installed our bench-built 48-volt power system, pre-tested and engineered to drop into place without hours of overhead wiring. With that infrastructure established, integration became seamless: dimmable zone lighting, ventilation and A/C controls, 12V outlets, and a fully integrated audio system all tied cleanly into a serviceable, accessible electrical core.

Plumbing was kept simple and efficient—Torva sink, 20 gallon fresh water tank, 6 gallon grey water container, Expedition Upfitter water boiler for hot water. The whole layout was designed to be practical, reliable, and cleanly executed. Nothing over-complicated, nothing added just to show off.

Exterior

Built for the Wild, Designed with Intention

This SAGA van stands out by doing less, better. Finished in understated silver with custom badging created in-house, it carries a quiet confidence that doesn’t rely on graphics or flash to make its point. The details reveal themselves slowly.

Every exterior element serves a purpose. Nothing is decorative without earning its place. It looks just as at home parked under city lights as it does staged beneath alpine skies or alone in the desert during a rare celestial moment.

It doesn’t shout. It performs. And that restraint is exactly what makes it memorable.

Up front, paint-matched aerodynamic bliss. VanSpeed side steps and the rear step platform provide confident access in and out of the van, whether you are loading up or settling into camp. They create stable footing on uneven ground and double as practical staging areas for gear, tools, or whatever the day’s adventure requires. When the adventure calls for taking the interior outside, the SAGA Spec Van delivers. A pull-out gear slide lets you load bikes, boards, or bulky gear with ease, and a rear-mounted shower keeps you clean after the trail, the lake, or the desert—all without ever stepping inside.

A low-profile AVATAR roof rack follows the factory lines of the Sprinter to keep wind noise and drag to a minimum, while still providing hard mounting points for an LED light bar, scene lighting, solar, and awnings. The manual Fiamma awning deploys in seconds, creating instant shade for roadside stops, desert lunches, or remote shoots.

Underneath, a Van Compass 4.3 suspension lift paired with oversized Black Rhino wheels and Mickey Thompson Baja Blast tires adds meaningful clearance and traction, giving the van the composure it needs on washboard roads, rocky trailheads, and long backcountry approaches.

An AVATAR rear ladder provides straightforward roof access, and all exterior lighting is cleanly integrated into the dash and tied into the onboard power system for seamless control.

Whether it’s crossing salt flats or chasing a rare celestial event, this SAGA Spec Van’s exterior blends function with presence. Every detail is purposeful, every system built to perform. Capable, refined, and unmistakably SAGA.

The SAGA Spec Van isn’t just a finished product—it’s a rolling proof of concept. Every mile, every detail, and every system is tested and refined, representing the capability and thought behind all our builds.
