Agile Offroad Double Shear Rear Shock Bracket (2007+ 2500 ONLY)

If you travel washboard forest and desert roads with your Mercedes Sprinter Van converted for Overland and Camping adventures, then there's a good chance the upper shock bolt will break. The added vehicle weight of a full camper build, and additional un-sprung weight in the form of bigger wheels and tires, increases the forces sustained during suspension oscillations. This fatigues the shock bolt to a point of complete failure.

Usually these things happen right outside a service shop -- with Mercedes Sprinter van bolts in stock, a bolt extraction kit, and competent tech ready to bust out the welder once the extractor kit fails, right? Fat chance of that actually happening... these bolts snap when you're miles from the closet service shop, and when you do find a place to take on the repair, their eyes will turn into dollar signs once a fancy Mercedes rolls in to the lot.
