SAGA Pop-Top Luxury Adventure Build

Imagine your dream mountain cabin—now put it on wheels. That’s what we built here. This Sprinter is a cozy cabin, equipped for off-grid life. It’s packed with everything you need to chase the seasons, from deep powder to desert sunsets.

Interior

Engineered for durability and performance, this build balances rugged capability with refined design. The interior features marine-grade cabinetry, soft-close hardware, and rich black walnut finishes throughout, creating a space that feels as solid as it looks. Every component, from the overhead lighting to the integrated electrical systems, is thoughtfully laid out for efficiency, reliability, and intuitive use.

Beyond materials, the layout itself is fully dialed. Custom details shape the flow of the space, maximizing storage, sightlines, and daily usability on the Sprinter 170 chassis. Passenger seats fold neatly out of the way when not in use, opening up the cabin for gear, lounging, or workspace flexibility. Up top, a low-profile pop-top expands the footprint vertically and allows the van to comfortably sleep four, without compromising drivability or clean exterior lines.

Built to handle the demands of full-time travel, this SAGA interior pairs professional-grade construction behind the panels with crisp aesthetics in front of them. It is a study in form meeting function, where every surface has a purpose and every system is integrated with intention.

The Build

This Sprinter 170 is the evolution of everything we’ve refined through years of developing the SAGA platform. It carries the same DNA as our team van: built for real mileage, real gear, and real off-grid living. Every system is intentional, from the reinforced electrical foundation to the precision-fit interior finishes. It is designed to handle trailhead mornings, desert wind, alpine cold, and long stretches of remote work without flinching.

The layout balances flexibility with durability. Clean lines meet hard-wearing materials. Storage is optimized, not decorative. At its core sits a 48V Victron-based SAGA bench-built power system engineered to support extended off-grid use for days or even weeks at a time. Convertible living spaces, walnut detailing, and a fully integrated gear garage make it adaptable without sacrificing strength.

Up top, a low-profile pop-top expands the living space vertically and adds additional sleeping capacity, allowing the van to comfortably sleep four while maintaining a clean exterior profile and everyday drivability.

This build is not about excess. It is about capability. Everything has a purpose, and nothing is there by accident.

Every element of this van reflects the hands-on expertise of our crew here at Reparadise. From cabinetry to systems integration, our team of builders, fabricators, and electricians bring years of experience to each step of the process. Nothing is off-the-shelf or one-size-fits-all — everything is measured, cut, wired, and finished in-house with a focus on durability, serviceability, and long-term use. It’s the kind of build you only get when the same people who use adventure rigs are the ones building them.

Exterior

Built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170 4×4, this van is engineered to go well beyond pavement. The stance is purposeful, with upgraded wheels and tires providing the traction and clearance needed for rough terrain, washboard roads, and long backcountry approaches. A clean matte finish and minimal badging keep the exterior refined and understated, letting the capability speak for itself.

Up top, a low-profile pop-top expands sleeping capacity without compromising drivability, while a custom solar panel rack maximizes rooftop real estate for serious off-grid charging. A top-mounted AC unit keeps the cabin comfortable in hot climates, and a fully integrated Starlink system ensures reliable connectivity wherever you land.

It is a thoughtfully equipped utility vehicle that transitions seamlessly from remote desert camps to national park trailheads to city streets. Rugged where it counts, refined where it matters, and built for extended travel without sacrificing comfort or connection.

This build embodies understated strength. Thoughtful design, premium materials, and robust off-grid systems work together seamlessly, without theatrics or excess. It draws attention not through flash, but through cohesion. Everything fits. Everything functions. Everything feels intentional.

Balanced between refinement and durability, it is engineered for the long road ahead. Every detail reflects the discipline, precision, and craftsmanship that define what leaves the Reparadise shop — contact us to start your build today!
