Details
A notorious, failure-prone, component, Rear Shock Bolts on a Mercedes Sprinter are destined to crack if you're off-roading a van built for overlanding and camping. Van Compass prevents this from happening with their Baja Bracket kit. It encapsulates the upper bolt, giving it a fighting chance to hold together over washboard two-track desert and forest roads. Without the double shear style bracket, the upper bolt is allowed to flex till it gives up the ghost -- leaving the chat at the most inopportune time.
We've install 100's of Baja brackets on Sprinter vans at this point. Van Compass calls for one hour of shop time for install, but this can sometimes take longer if wiring, holding tanks, or plumbing lines are routed where hardware needs to land. Contact us to get your van in for this must have suspension upgrade.
