The build

The Owala Brand Experience Vehicle project highlights Reparadise’s capacity for fast-tracked, innovative builds. Tasked with transforming a standard van into a visually captivating, functional vending rig in just six weeks, the Reparadise team integrated numerous custom features while meeting commercial health standards for mobile food service.

Key design elements include:

Merchandise Storage and Display: Custom shelving and shadow boxes up front and in the rear doors enable a dynamic product setup for various cup and bottle designs.
Functional Workspaces: Backlit 3Form acrylic countertops add vibrant aesthetics and practicality, including a unique shadow box for displaying bottles at eye level, enhancing customer interaction.
Health-Department Compliance: Equipped with a triple basin sink, water heater, and handwashing station, the van meets national mobile food service standards, ensuring effortless health department certification for events.
Impressive Power and Sound System: The van houses Reparadise’s largest-ever 20kW power system, powered by a roof-mounted solar array and designed to sustain the robust stereo setup, which includes Bluetooth and PA functionality for live crowd engagement.
Commercial-Grade Appliance Integration: Features such as a soda machine, commercial ice maker, and cold storage were seamlessly incorporated, maintaining a clean, functional space for efficient service.

Debuted at California’s Surf Fest, this custom Sprinter Van embodies Owala’s brand identity while underscoring Reparadise’s craftsmanship and adaptability in meeting high-stakes deadlines. This project serves as a flagship example of a custom brand experience vehicle, inviting future inquiries for custom merch and event rig builds.

Interior

When you step inside the event-ready interior, you’ll notice our SAGA foundation kit. With every detail tailored to Owala’s vision, from client-selected wall colors and durable flooring to custom cabinetry lamination, the end result seamlessly matches their brand identity. But, corporate design juju will only go so far. This rig is packed with functionality – think sleek countertop space, intuitive product displays, and all the essentials for seamless service. And, of course, the SAGA kit keeps it practical, and seriously good-looking.

The cabinetry in this rig takes versatility to a whole new level. Running the full length of the van, the upper cabinets offer massive storage for merch, while our SAGA cabinetry was adapted to fit a soda machine and extra systems seamlessly. It’s functional design at its best, built to keep everything organized and within easy reach.

This van is equipped with a full-service plumbing setup, including multiple sinks – a triple-basin for cleaning, a handwashing sink, and even a drainage system for the soda machine. With 35 gallons of fresh water and dedicated gray water tanks, it meets all health standards without sacrificing functionality. This robust system keeps everything flowing smoothly, even in high-demand event settings.

The back doors are a show-stopping display space, intended to draw crowds from all angles. Custom designed and fabricated in house, the hook board with Owala’s logo features the flexibly to showcase their wide variety of bottles and merch. The modular setup allows for easy rearrangement, so products of all shapes and sizes can be featured front and center. It’s a striking, dynamic display that makes the van a true merchandising powerhouse.

The Build

This build pushed the boundaries of what a vending rig can be. In just six weeks, our team brought together custom elements, health-certified systems, and high-power functionality to create a mobile experience like no other. From the durable SAGA foundation to the unique design details, every inch of this van was crafted for impact and seamless operation on the road.

Boasting our largest power system to date – a massive 20kWh setup that’s built to keep the energy flowing all day long. Eight high-capacity 48V batteries and a 600W solar array on the roof, it can handle everything from the booming sound system to refrigeration and lighting without breaking a sweat. Designed for reliability and efficiency, this powerhouse setup ensures the rig is ready to perform, no matter the crowd size or event length.

Exterior

This van is built to impress from top to bottom, starting with an epic sound system with components sourced from Wet Sounds. It can double as a PA, ensuring the crowd hears every word. Equipped with a new Avatar Off Road rack, we helped design, and ample rear storage with Avatar Massif Carriers and Boxes this Sprinter Van has the capacity when Owala needs to stow extra gear. Mounted to the Rack are dual shade awnings, paired with ground-effect lighting. This sets the stage for any event, while custom steps and rugged wheels add both function and style. Every detail on the exterior of the Owala brand experience vehicle was chosen to enhance both performance and presence.
